Cells exposed to plasma are found to have distorted surfaces (cellular walls)
Mold is also thought to die out in the same mechanism as bacteria.

1. TEST method

• Bread mold (Neurospora crassa-wild type strain; ORS-SL6a) is set at 107 per ml
• DI water (distilled water) and VM culture medium are sprayed with the same amount of mold
• Compare the sterilization effect by culturing on an agar plate after exposure to plasma with different energy intensity

2. Purpose

• To see the effect of killing bread mold by plasma

3. TEST result

• In distilled water and VM culture solution, it was confirmed that the sterilization power increases as the energy of plasma increases.
